Last updated: October 7, 2026 · Checked against official retailer websites · How we verify
As of September 2026, several big retailers ship free with no minimum for everyone, including Apple, Dell, Nordstrom, lululemon, Logitech and the Microsoft Store. Many more ship free with no minimum once you join a free rewards program, among them Sephora, adidas, Columbia, DSW and The North Face. Elsewhere the usual threshold is $35 to $50: Amazon, Target, Ulta and Walgreens start at $35, while Kohl’s, Chewy and Macy’s start at $49. Below is every store on KouponsKeeper with a published free-shipping rule, the membership or card that lowers it, and where free pickup is an option.
Key facts
- Free for everyone on all orders: Apple, Dell, Logitech, lululemon (North America), Microsoft Store and Nordstrom (almost everything, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico).
- Free with a free membership and no minimum: Sephora Beauty Insider, adiClub, Columbia Greater Rewards, DSW VIP, Foot Locker FLX, New Balance, Skechers Plus and The North Face XPLR Pass.
- Most common threshold: $35 (Amazon without Prime, Target, Ulta, Walgreens, LEGO, Staples, e.l.f.), then $49 to $50.
- Paid plans that remove the minimum: Walmart+ ($98/year), Chewy+ (about $79/year), Wayfair Rewards ($29/year), welcome rewards+ ($24.99/year) and ScoreCard+ ($99/year).
- Many thresholds are counted after discounts and before tax (Nike, Abercrombie, Uniqlo, Walgreens, PetSmart), so a coupon can push you under the line.
- Delivery apps (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart) waive delivery fees for members above a minimum, but service fees still apply.

Free shipping thresholds at 60+ stores
These are the standard free-shipping rules each retailer published as of September 2026, listed alphabetically. “Yes” in the pickup column means the retailer’s own pages say in-store, curbside or ship-to-store pickup is free; “No” means the retailer says it has no in-store pickup; a dash means pickup isn’t confirmed as free. Thresholds apply to the contiguous US unless noted, and most exclude oversized or hazardous items.

Stores without a single free-shipping threshold
Some retailers don’t publish one sitewide minimum. Check the product page or cart before you pay:
- Costco: many costco.com items include shipping and handling in the listed price, while others add a delivery charge at checkout. Warehouse shopping has no delivery fees.
- BJ’s Wholesale Club: free shipping on select items and styles, such as select furniture, as shown on the product page. Curbside pickup is offered.
- eBay: each seller sets shipping. Many listings ship free, and you can filter search results for them.
- Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn and West Elm: free shipping on marked items. Other small parcels pay calculated or tiered shipping, and furniture delivery is charged separately. Crate & Barrel registry guests get free shipping on eligible purchases of $49+.
- IKEA: no blanket free shipping. Delivery requires a $35 merchandise minimum, truck delivery starts at $19 for IKEA Family members ($29 otherwise), and Click & Collect is free for members.
- Michaels: free shipping once your subtotal after discounts reaches a minimum that isn’t published outside the cart, so check it there. Trees ship free during the current tree sale.
- Victoria’s Secret: we couldn’t confirm a free-shipping threshold in September 2026. Check your bag before checking out.
Free-shipping memberships explained
If you order often, a paid plan can cost less than repeated shipping fees. Here are the plans in our data, with prices as of September 2026.
Amazon Prime
Amazon ships eligible orders of $35 or more free without Prime. Prime adds fast free delivery on millions of items and Same-Day delivery on eligible orders in many metro areas. It costs $14.99 a month or $139 a year, with a 30-day free trial. Young adults 18 to 24 get six months free, then $7.49 a month, and Prime Access is $6.99 a month for qualifying government-assistance recipients. See our Prime Big Deal Days guide for member-only sales.
Walmart+
Walmart+ costs $98 a year, or you can pay monthly, and a 30-day trial costs $1. Members get free next-day and two-day shipping with no order minimum on items sold or shipped by Walmart, plus free delivery from their local store on orders over $35. Store-delivery orders under $35 carry a $6.99 minimum order fee.
Target Circle 360 and the Target Circle Card
At Target, the no-annual-fee Target Circle Card and the paid Target Circle 360 both unlock free 2-day shipping on eligible items without the $35 minimum. Circle 360 costs $99 a year or $10.99 a month. It adds unlimited same-day delivery through Shipt on orders over $35. Circle Card holders and verified teachers, military members and college students pay $49 a year.
My Best Buy, Plus and Total
The free My Best Buy tier includes free standard shipping at Best Buy. Plus ($29.99 a year) and Total ($199.99 a year) add free 2-day shipping on eligible items, along with member prices and 60-day returns.
Chewy+, Wayfair Rewards and welcome rewards+
- Chewy+: about $79 a year, with free shipping on every order and 5% back in rewards. Without it, orders under $49 pay a flat fee of about $4.95.
- Wayfair Rewards: $29 a year, with free standard shipping on every order and 5% back. It’s free with a Wayfair credit card.
- welcome rewards+ at Bed Bath & Beyond: $24.99 a year, with free shipping on every purchase and 5% rewards.
ScoreCard+, REI Co-op and Sam’s Club Plus
- Dick’s ScoreCard+: $99 a year since July 1, 2026, with unlimited free standard shipping and $100 in annual rewards paid as $25 a quarter.
- REI Co-op: a one-time $30 lifetime fee that includes free US standard shipping with no minimum.
- Sam’s Club Plus: $120 a year at regular price (Club is $60). Plus members get free shipping on eligible items totaling $50 or more and free delivery from their club on eligible orders over $50. Curbside pickup is free for both tiers.
CVS ExtraCare Plus
ExtraCare Plus costs $5 a month or $48 a year. It lowers the CVS.com free-shipping minimum to orders over $10 and makes same-day delivery free on orders of $10 or more.
Free programs worth joining first
These cost nothing and change your shipping rules as soon as you sign in: Sephora Beauty Insider, adiClub, Columbia Greater Rewards, DSW VIP, Skechers Plus, The North Face XPLR Pass, New Balance membership, J.Crew Passport, Nike Membership, Levi’s Red Tab, Gap Inc. Rewards (Encore), PetSmart Treats Rewards, myAcademy Rewards, MyLowe’s Rewards, Newegg+ and IKEA Family.
Food, grocery and delivery apps
Delivery apps don’t have free shipping in the retail sense. Instead, a membership cuts the delivery fee to $0 on eligible orders above a minimum. Service fees, small-order fees, taxes and tips can still apply, and menu or shelf prices may be higher than in the store.
- DoorDash DashPass: $9.99 a month or $96 a year; DashPass for Students is $4.99 a month or $48 a year. Members pay $0 delivery fees and lower service fees on eligible orders. In the US, restaurant and convenience orders need a $12 minimum subtotal. The DoorDash Rewards Mastercard includes a year of DashPass for new cardmembers.
- Uber One: $9.99 a month (an annual option is available); Uber One for Students is $4.99 a month after a 4-week free trial. Members get a $0 delivery fee on eligible orders over the store’s minimum and up to 10% off eligible orders.
- Instacart+: $99 a year or $9.99 a month. Members get $0 delivery on orders above the retailer’s minimum, which dropped to $10 at many stores in 2025, though warehouse clubs can require more. Members also pay lower service fees and get credit back on eligible pickup orders.
- HelloFresh: a shipping fee applies to weekly boxes. Introductory offers often cover it on the first box only.
Retailer same-day options follow similar rules. Target Circle 360 includes unlimited same-day delivery on orders over $35. Walmart+ covers store delivery over $35. CVS ExtraCare Plus covers same-day delivery at $10+. Sephora sells Same-Day Unlimited, a paid plan that removes per-order same-day fees. Ulta’s same-day delivery through DoorDash costs $6.95. Macy’s same-day delivery is $15 on orders of $25 or more in select ZIP codes. The cheapest option on every app is still pickup: DoorDash and Uber Eats pickup orders carry no delivery fee.
Tips to always get free shipping
- Sign in or join before you check out. At Nike, a member pays nothing to ship a $50 order, but a guest pays $8 below $75. Skechers guests pay $8.50 below $99, while Skechers Plus members pay nothing. Levi’s guests need $150, but Red Tab members need only $75.
- Buy online, pick up in store. Free pickup avoids the threshold entirely at Kohl’s, The Home Depot, Walgreens (no minimum), Best Buy, Target (Order Pickup and Drive Up), Uniqlo, Office Depot, REI and Academy. Ship-to-store is free at Bass Pro Shops, H&M and The North Face.
- Watch how the threshold is counted. Nike, Abercrombie, Hollister, Uniqlo, Walgreens, PetSmart and Michaels count the minimum after discounts, so a coupon can push a $52 cart under $50. Gift cards don’t count at LEGO, and B&H excludes gift cards, freight charges, duties and taxes from its $49 minimum.
- Reach the minimum with things you’d buy anyway. Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic and Athleta share one checkout, so items from several brands count toward the same $50. Staples suggests combining orders and adding AutoRestock items. Bath & Body Works shoppers just under $50 can often add a hand soap for less than the shipping fee.
- Use subscriptions for repeat buys. Petco Autoship ships free on $39+, and Dermstore Auto-Replenishment orders ship free. BarkBox subscription boxes always ship free.
- Look for free-shipping promotions. Crocs Club members get free and upgraded shipping offers during the year. Kohl’s Card MVC status (earned by spending $600 a year on the card) includes free shipping events. Under Armour sometimes lowers its threshold for members or during events. Big sales like Black Friday are a good time to watch for these; see our savings guides for more.
- Check exclusions before relying on free shipping. Firearms, ammunition and some large items at Academy, litter and live animals at Petco, and truck-delivered appliances at Lowe’s are excluded. Many thresholds also skip Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. boxes and APO/FPO addresses. Nordstrom is an exception and ships free to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
- Factor in return shipping. Free shipping out doesn’t always mean free returns. Compare the rules on our return policies page, and check price match policies before paying extra for a faster delivery speed.
Travel sites such as Expedia, Booking.com, Hotels.com, Priceline and Vrbo don’t ship goods, so they aren’t included on this page.

Free shipping FAQs
Which stores offer free shipping with no minimum?
As of September 2026, Apple, Dell, Logitech, lululemon, the Microsoft Store and Nordstrom ship free with no minimum for everyone. Sephora, adidas, Columbia, DSW, New Balance, Skechers and The North Face do the same for members of their free rewards programs.
Does Amazon offer free shipping without Prime?
Yes. Eligible Amazon orders of $35 or more ship free with standard shipping without Prime. Prime, which costs $14.99 a month or $139 a year as of September 2026, adds fast free delivery on millions of items.
Does Walmart have free shipping without Walmart+?
Non-members get free shipping above Walmart's threshold, which is shown at checkout. Walmart+ members, who pay $98 a year, get free next-day and two-day shipping with no order minimum on items sold or shipped by Walmart.
What is Target's free shipping minimum?
Target offers free 2-day shipping on eligible items when you spend $35 or more. Target Circle Card holders and Target Circle 360 members get it with no minimum, and Order Pickup and Drive Up have no delivery fee.
Is a paid shipping membership worth it?
It depends on how often you order. Plans like Chewy+ (about $79 a year), Wayfair Rewards ($29 a year) and Walmart+ ($98 a year) remove the minimum, so they pay off mainly if you place frequent or small orders that would otherwise carry a fee.
Do coupons count toward free shipping minimums?
At many stores the minimum is measured after discounts and before tax, including Nike, Abercrombie & Fitch, Uniqlo, Walgreens and PetSmart. A coupon can push your subtotal below the threshold, so check your cart after applying it.
How can I avoid shipping fees on small orders?
Join the store's free rewards program before checkout, or choose free buy online, pick up in store where offered, such as at Kohl's, The Home Depot, Walgreens, Best Buy and Target. Ship-to-store is also free at stores like Bass Pro Shops, H&M and The North Face.
Do DoorDash and Uber Eats have free delivery?
DashPass and Uber One members pay $0 delivery fees on eligible orders above a minimum subtotal, which is $12 for US DashPass restaurant and convenience orders. Service fees can still apply, and pickup orders have no delivery fee.
