Ace Hardware Coupons & Promo Codes for October 2026

Ace Hardware shopping guide: how to save more

Ace Hardware at a glance

Ace Hardware is a network of locally owned neighborhood hardware stores, and acehardware.com connects online shopping with those stores. Most of the best savings run through the free Ace Rewards program, so joining before you buy is the single most useful step.

Best ways to save at Ace Hardware

• Join Ace Rewards first. Membership is free with no purchase necessary. As of October 2026, members earn 10 points per dollar on most purchases, and 2,500 points equal a $5 reward.
• Collect the sign-up bonus. New members earn 1,000 bonus points just for joining.
• Link the app. The Ace Rewards page advertises a $10 instant bonus when you download the Ace Hardware app and link your Ace Rewards account, limited to one per member.
• Shop the Sales and Specials and Clearance sections. The coupons page points shoppers to a regularly updated selection of discounted best sellers and clearance on end-of-line items. Keep in mind that clearance items cannot be returned.
• Check your local ad. Because stores are locally owned, weekly circulars vary by location. Choose your store on the website to see its ad.
• Look for member-only coupons. Ace Rewards members get exclusive offers, and Ace says members save an average of $22 per year through them.

Ace Rewards program

Ace Rewards has two levels. The basic Member level is free and includes 10 points per dollar, exclusive offers, free delivery on qualifying online orders of $50 or more, a $5 birthday offer at participating stores and access to member events. Premier status is reached after $750 in qualifying spend within a rolling 12 months. Premier members keep the Member benefits and add a $10 birthday bonus, welcome offers that the program page describes as 10% off and 3X points, plus additional points accelerators. Ace notes that rewards used on a purchase are forfeited if that purchase is returned.

Shipping, delivery and pickup

Ace offers several ways to get your order:

• Free store pickup. If you order at least 30 minutes before closing and the items are in stock, the help center says you may pick up your order in 15 minutes. Orders fulfilled from a warehouse are held at the store for up to 5 days.
• Free delivery for members. The free shipping page lists free same-day delivery for Ace Rewards members on qualifying orders of $50 or more placed by 2pm, with terms applying. Availability depends on your local store.
• Paid same-day and 2-hour delivery. Paid same-day delivery is listed as starting at $9.99 and 2-hour delivery at $5.99 for members, depending on location.
• Ship to home. According to the help center, ship-to-home orders carry weight-based shipping charges, with Next Day and Second Day options available. Exact charges show at checkout.

Delivery terms can differ by store, so read the terms shown at checkout as of October 2026.

Returns

Ace’s return policy lets you return most items within 30 days of the original purchase date with an original receipt, as long as they are unused, uninstalled and in their original packaging. Bring a valid photo ID. Online purchases are best returned to a local Ace store. If there is no store nearby, Customer Care can give mail return instructions, and you pay return shipping unless the item was wrong, damaged or defective. Exclusions include gift cards, trading cards, outdoor power equipment after fuel or oil is added, grills and smokers, clearance items, hazardous materials and tinted paint. Refunds go to the original form of payment, or to a gift card if that is not available.

The Extra Mile Promise for paint projects

If you buy at least one gallon of paint at a participating store for a residential project, Ace’s Extra Mile Promise says the store will either sell you everything you need up front or deliver missed paint sundries or cleaning products free of delivery charge within its delivery area. You still pay for the products, you must call the store within 30 days, and online or app purchases are not covered.

Special discounts and price match

We could not confirm a company-wide military, student, senior or teacher discount on acehardware.com as of October 2026. Because Ace stores are locally owned, some individual stores may run their own programs, so ask your local store. We also could not confirm a national price match policy on the official site.

Payment options and gift cards

Ace accepts major payment methods online and in store, and Ace gift cards are sold through the official site. Gift cards are not returnable. Points from Ace Rewards turn into rewards you can apply to future purchases.

When Ace Hardware runs sales

Ace runs rotating weekly ads by store, a standing Sales and Specials section online, and seasonal promotions around spring lawn and garden, grilling season and the holidays. Ace has also hosted online sales events exclusive to Ace Rewards members, so being signed in as a member helps you see those deals. Dates and offers vary, so check the coupons page and your local ad.

How to use a promo code at Ace Hardware

1. Sign in to your Ace Rewards account on acehardware.com or the app.
2. Visit the Ace coupons page to see any online-only or in-store coupons. As of October 2026 the page shows ‘Check back soon’ for both, as offers change regularly.
3. Add items to your cart and choose pickup, delivery or shipping.
4. Enter any valid code in the promo code field at checkout, or apply available Ace Rewards.
5. Confirm the discount before placing the order.

Tips before you buy

• Pick your home store first, because prices, ads and delivery options depend on it.
• Combine orders to reach $50 if you want member free delivery.
• Keep receipts, since most returns need one.
• Remember that clearance is final.
