Bed Bath & Beyond Coupons & Promo Codes for October 2026

Bed Bath & Beyond shopping guide: how to save more

Guide last reviewed: September 2026

Who runs Bed Bath & Beyond now?

The original Bed Bath & Beyond chain went bankrupt in 2023. Its brand was bought by Overstock's parent company, which relaunched bedbathandbeyond.com as an online home store and later renamed itself Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. The company then partnered with Kirkland's Home to open Bed Bath & Beyond stores, starting in the Nashville area, and in 2026 completed its acquisition of The Brand House Collective, the operator of Kirkland's Home. As of September 2026 the business is mainly online, with a growing set of physical stores. Old coupons and policies from the pre-2023 chain no longer apply.

How to save at Bed Bath & Beyond: the smartest ways

1. Clear the $49.99 free-shipping line. Orders over $49.99 ship free with standard shipping, so combine small home essentials into one cart.
2. Do the welcome rewards+ math. At $24.99 a year, membership pays off if you'll place several orders under the free-shipping threshold or spend enough for the 5% rewards to cover the fee.
3. Don't rely on the old 20% coupon. The company only honors Bed Bath & Beyond coupons sent on or after August 1, 2023; the classic blue mailers from the old chain aren't valid.
4. Sign up for emails and app alerts. Current coupons and flash deals are sent to subscribers and promoted on the homepage and deals section.
5. Shop the deals and clearance sections. Furniture, rugs and bedding see frequent markdowns, especially around holiday weekends.
6. Use the registry price-match guarantee. If you're building a wedding or home registry, ask about the price-match guarantee on registry purchases.
7. Read the return rules before buying large items. Oversized furniture and mattresses have their own return and damage-reporting rules, and return shipping can eat into your savings.
8. Compare with Overstock. The same parent company runs both sites, and prices on similar items can differ.

Shipping & delivery options

Standard shipping is free on orders over $49.99 as of September 2026, and welcome rewards+ members get free shipping on every order. Delivery estimates appear on each product page and in your cart, and they vary by item and by the warehouse or supplier it ships from. Large furniture may ship by freight carrier with scheduled delivery. If a large freight item arrives damaged, report it quickly: the window for oversized items is much shorter than the standard return window.

Physical Bed Bath & Beyond stores (converted from Kirkland's Home locations) sell a curated in-store assortment. Check with your local store about picking up or returning online orders, as online and in-store policies can differ.

Return & exchange policy

As of September 2026, most online orders can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Start a return from your account or the Help Center to receive a label.

• Return shipping: unless the item arrived defective, damaged or incorrect, the cost of the return label is usually deducted from your refund.
• Not returnable: items marked final sale, personalized items, opened mattresses, assembled furniture and used appliances are commonly excluded. Check the product page and the Help Center's product-specific policies.
• Holiday purchases: the window is typically extended for orders placed in November and December.
• Refunds: after the warehouse inspects the item, the refund goes back to your original payment method, which can take a couple of weeks in total.

welcome rewards+ explained

welcome rewards+ is Bed Bath & Beyond's paid membership, priced at $24.99 per year as of September 2026. Members get:

• 5% rewards on purchases, which can be used on future orders.
• Free shipping on every purchase, with no minimum.
• Member-exclusive discounts and offers.

Bed Bath & Beyond also offers a store credit card; review its current rewards and terms on the site before applying.

Student, military, teacher, senior & other discounts

As of September 2026, Bed Bath & Beyond does not advertise an official student, military, teacher or senior discount. The best substitutes are welcome rewards+, email sign-up offers and registry perks.

Price matching & price adjustments

The retailer lists a price-match guarantee for registries. A general competitor price-match or post-purchase price adjustment policy isn't advertised for regular online orders, so if a price drops soon after you buy, contact customer care to ask.

Payment options

Bed Bath & Beyond accepts major credit and debit cards and its own credit card. Other payment methods, including any buy-now-pay-later options, are shown at checkout and can vary by order.

When Bed Bath & Beyond has its biggest sales

• January: new-year home refresh and bedding and bath promotions.
• Presidents Day, Memorial Day and Fourth of July: holiday-weekend sales on furniture, rugs and outdoor items.
• July-August: dorm and back-to-college essentials.
• Labor Day: end-of-summer home sales.
• Black Friday and Cyber Monday: typically the year's deepest sitewide deals.

These are typical patterns for the retailer's home categories, not guaranteed dates.

How to use a Bed Bath & Beyond promo code

1. Sign in on bedbathandbeyond.com or the app so rewards and member pricing apply.
2. Add items to your cart and open the cart or checkout page.
3. Enter the code in the promo code field and click Apply.
4. Confirm the discount in your order total before paying.

Codes often exclude final sale items, select brands and some furniture, and usually can't be combined with other codes. Coupons from the pre-2023 Bed Bath & Beyond chain are not accepted.
