Budget discounts apply to the time and mileage portion of what it calls the Best Available Rate; taxes, fees, surcharges and optional products are extra, and rates vary by location and time of year. For local rentals, you are charged for the actual miles driven and days used. For one-way rentals, your rate includes a pre-estimated number of miles; any additional miles cost $0.80 each if prepaid at pickup or $1.00 each after return.
The truck has a full tank at the start of the rental and you pay for all fuel used. Return it full or pay a refueling charge plus a service fee. Renters under 24, and additional drivers under 24, may pay an extra daily charge.
Contact Budget at least 48 hours before pickup to modify or cancel. Without that notice, a $150 cancellation fee applies, and a $150 no-show fee applies if you cancel within 48 hours or do not show up. Late returns are billed at 100% of the daily rate plus 100% of the daily rate for any protection products you chose.
