Casper shopping guide: how to save more

Guide last reviewed: September 2026

How to save at Casper: the smartest ways

1. Shop the current event. As of September 2026 the September Savings sale takes 20% off The One, Cloud One, Dream and Dream Max mattresses through September 29, 2026, with discounts applied automatically.
2. Buy a bundle instead of separates. The same event takes 25% off bundles. If you need a mattress plus pillows or bedding anyway, check the bundle price first.
3. Pair pillows. Buying two or more pillows saves 10% during the September event.
4. Look at the Snow line if you want an adjustable base. A standard Adjustable Base is included free with a Snow or Snow Max mattress during the event.
5. Verify for the community discount. Military members, teachers, students, healthcare workers and first responders can get an extra 5% off through ID.me. It cannot be combined with other offers, so compare it with any running sale.
6. Get a referral link from a friend. A new customer referred through the Casper referral program gets 30% off a first order (with exclusions), and the person who referred them gets a $75 Amazon gift card.
7. Check clearance. Casper lists clearance items at up to 75% off. Clearance and Final Sale items cannot be returned, so this suits pillows and accessories more than a mattress you have never tried.
8. Ask about a price match during your trial. If a sale starts while you are still in your 100-night trial, contact Casper's Sleep Specialists to see if your order qualifies.

Shipping & delivery

Casper ships mattresses free by UPS standard ground to addresses in the contiguous United States. Its shipping article says in-stock mattresses usually ship within one to two business days and arrive within two to eight business days. Hawaii and Alaska may have extra fees, and Casper does not deliver to US territories, P.O. boxes or APO boxes.

The mattress arrives compressed in a box about the size of a mini-fridge. It starts to expand within minutes and can take up to 72 hours to reach full shape. If you would rather not carry and unbox it yourself, Casper offers in-home delivery and setup for $249. Delivery takes two to four weeks, and old mattress removal is an option. Check at checkout for the current price and availability at your address.

Return & exchange policy

Casper mattresses come with a 100-night trial that starts on the delivery date. The first 30 nights are an adjustment period when returns are not accepted, so plan on sleeping on it for at least a month. After that, you can return it through night 100.

• Returns are free, with no restocking or processing fees. Casper arranges a courier pickup, and you do not need to repackage the mattress.
• Refunds go to the original payment method, usually within 3 to 5 business days after pickup.
• You can exchange for a different mattress model during the trial instead of returning.
• Furniture, dog beds and Glow lights have a 30-day trial with free returns. Pillows and bedding can be returned within 30 days if unused and in original packaging.
• Items marked Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged, with limited exceptions.

Rewards & membership

As of September 2026 we did not find a points or loyalty program on Casper's site. The closest thing is the referral program. You share your link, your friend gets 30% off their first order at casper.com, and you receive a $75 Amazon gift card for each eligible friend who buys. The friend discount is for new customers and one-time use. It excludes bundles, Final Sale, Clearance, the Nap Pillow, the Original and Original Hybrid mattresses, the Element and Snug mattresses, digital gift cards and Casper Outlet. Casper also has an email list with a welcome offer on its email sign-up page.

Student, military, teacher & other discounts

Casper's community discount gives an extra 5% off to verified groups. You verify through ID.me and then receive a promo code:

• Military: active duty, retirees, veterans, military spouses and family members (military discount page).
• Education: teachers and students (teacher & student page).
• Healthcare & first responders: nurses, medical professionals, first responders and hospital employees (healthcare page).

Clearance and Final Sale products are excluded. Only one discount code is accepted per order, and the code cannot be combined with other offers. During a big sale, the sale price is often the better deal, so compare before you apply the code.

Price matching & price adjustments

We found no policy for matching other retailers' prices. Casper's promotions page says that if a sale happens during your 100-night trial, you can contact its Sleep Specialists to see if your order qualifies for a price match. Keep your order number handy, and ask before the trial ends.

Payment options

Casper offers financing through Affirm. You can pay over 3, 6, 12, 18 or 24 months, with rates from 0% APR up to 10-36% APR depending on credit. Affirm says checking your eligibility won't affect your credit score. Katapult is a lease-to-own option up to $5,000 with no credit required. It costs more than the cash price and is not available in Minnesota, New Jersey, Wisconsin or Wyoming. For cards and other wallets, check at checkout.

When Casper has its biggest sales

Casper runs sales often, and they usually line up with US holidays and seasons. Its site has had Labor Day mattress sale pages, and as of September 2026 a September Savings event is live through September 29. These events usually take a percentage off selected mattresses and bundles, and sometimes add a free item. Discounts apply automatically. Exclusions usually cover the Original and Element lines, clearance and digital gift cards. Casper's email list is the easiest way to hear about the next sale.

How to use a Casper promo code

1. Add your mattress or other items to the cart.
2. If you have a community discount or referral code, enter it in the discount code field at checkout.
3. Check that the total goes down. Casper accepts one discount code per order, and codes generally cannot be combined with a running sale.
4. For sitewide events such as September Savings, no code is needed. The discount is applied automatically.
5. If a code is rejected, check whether your cart has excluded items like Clearance, Final Sale, the Original or Element mattresses, or digital gift cards.
