DJI shopping guide: how to save more

DJI at a glance

DJI is a consumer drone and camera technology company, and its official online store sells directly to US customers. Buying from the DJI Store gives you access to perks that third-party sellers usually do not offer, such as DJI Credit rewards, official refurbished devices and DJI’s own price drop policy.

Best ways to save at DJI

• Check for marked-down products. As of October 2026, the store shows reduced prices on some portable power stations, such as the DJI Power 500 listed at $299 against $499 and the DJI Power 1000 at $699 against $999. Availability changes, and the Power 1000 was showing out of stock when we checked.
• Consider official refurbished. DJI’s refurbished program offers devices at up to 20% off, and they come with the standard DJI manufacturer warranty.
• Collect DJI Credit. Eligible purchases earn 1% back in DJI Credit that never expires and can be used on later orders.
• Use the price drop policy. If the price falls within 7 days of delivery, you can ask for the difference back as a refund or DJI Credit.
• Use coupons from your account. Coupons issued to your DJI account appear under My Account, in My Gift Cards and Coupons, along with their expiry dates.

DJI Credit rewards program

DJI Credit is the store’s rewards program. You get 1% of the total purchase value back in DJI Credit, issued once no refund has been processed 15 days after delivery. DJI Credit works like a virtual currency in your payment currency, and you can choose to apply it at checkout on store products, although it cannot be used toward shipping fees. DJI says issued credit does not expire and there is no upper limit on how much you can redeem.

There are some limits. Purchases made with coupons or with existing DJI Credit do not earn new credit, and DJI may cancel orders and withdraw credit when it sees bulk buying for resale or other improper purchases. The program is meant for individual buyers.

Coupons and how to use them

DJI’s help center explains how coupons work rather than listing public codes. As of October 2026, we did not find a promo code printed on the official US store. Here is how to use a coupon if you have one:

1. Sign in to your DJI account and check My Account, then My Gift Cards and Coupons, for any coupons and their expiration dates.
2. Add eligible products to your cart. Each coupon type can cover different products and quantities.
3. At checkout, select the coupon. Only one coupon can be used per order.
4. You can also apply DJI Credit on the same order, since DJI says coupons can be combined with DJI Credit.

Some coupons are tied to your account and cannot be shared, and coupons cannot be exchanged for cash. If you refund a product bought with a coupon, the coupon is returned to your account.

Shipping

The US store homepage advertises free shipping on orders over $35 and a free fast-delivery upgrade on eligible items as of October 2026. The help center’s shipping page lists a higher free standard shipping threshold of $149, so check the shipping total in your cart before you pay. North American orders ship by FedEx, UPS or DHL, and standard delivery usually takes 3 to 7 business days after the order ships, longer for Alaska, Hawaii and remote areas. DJI cannot ship to PO Boxes, and it does not split orders, so a multi-item order ships when everything is ready. When you pay for express delivery with a guaranteed date and it arrives late, DJI says it refunds the fast shipping fee.

Returns and refunds

The DJI Store help center says you can request a refund within 30 days from the day after you receive the product, and the store advertises up to 30-day returns. The product must be unactivated and unused with all original packaging, accessories, gifts and manuals intact, or it must have a manufacturing defect. Customers pay return shipping to the designated service center unless the refund is due to a performance fault.

Replacements are also available within 30 days for items damaged in transit (with carrier proof), items that do not match the description, or items with a manufacturing defect, and DJI covers two-way freight for replacements due to performance faults. DJI’s separate terms page lists a 14-day return window, so we suggest checking the policy shown with your order. Gift cards, virtual goods and services cannot be returned.

Price adjustments

DJI’s return and refund terms say that if a product’s price drops within 7 days of delivery, you may request a refund of the difference or receive it as DJI Credit. We did not find a policy for matching other retailers’ prices.

Refurbished products

DJI’s official refurbished units are tested by DJI, go through a six-step refurbishment process and carry the standard manufacturer warranty. They may have slight signs of wear, such as minor scratches. Refurbished products can only be exchanged for other refurbished products, not new ones, and you can add DJI Care for extra protection.

Payment options

The US store accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners, JCB and China UnionPay, plus PayPal, Apple Pay on iPhone and iPad, bank transfer and Affirm. Affirm lets eligible buyers pay over time, with rates from 0% to 36% APR depending on approval. Cards cannot be used on orders above $10,000.

Sale calendar

DJI runs seasonal events on its store, and its site has hosted Black Friday and holiday gift guide pages in past years. Dates and discounts for late 2026 had not been posted as of early October 2026, so check the homepage and your DJI account for current events.
