e.l.f. Cosmetics Coupons & Promo Codes for October 2026

e.l.f. Cosmetics shopping guide: how to save more

Guide last reviewed: September 2026

How to save at e.l.f. Cosmetics: the smartest ways

e.l.f. prices are already low, with items like its Soft Glam Satin Concealer listed at $5. You can still save more on a haul. As of September 2026, these are the most useful tactics:

1. Build your cart to $35. Standard shipping is free on U.S. orders of $35 or more. Below that, it costs $6.50, which is more than a single e.l.f. product often costs.
2. Add the free gift when you reach $50. Until September 30, 2026, a Clear Brow & Lash Mascara is free with a $50+ purchase. No code is needed, but you have to add the mascara to your cart yourself.
3. Verify as a student or graduate. e.l.f. gives 20% off your order after you verify through Student Beans. The code is valid for one year and can be combined with other offers.
4. Use the essential worker discount if you qualify. Teachers, first responders, healthcare workers and military get 25% off orders of $30 or more after verification.
5. Join Beauty Squad. The loyalty program is free, earns 10 points per $1 and includes early access to collections and sales.
6. Scan receipts from other stores. Beauty Squad lets you earn points by scanning receipts from other retailers that sell e.l.f., so drugstore and big-box purchases count too.
7. Sign up for emails. e.l.f. uses its email list for early access and exclusives, so you hear about sales first.
8. Read the promotion details page. The promotion details page lists current offers with their exact terms, including which offers can be combined.

Shipping & delivery options

According to e.l.f.'s shipping page, U.S. orders have two options:

Orders placed by 11 a.m. EST Monday through Friday are processed the same day. e.l.f. also ships to Canada, where orders over $50 ship free, and to a short list of other countries for a $9.95 flat rate on orders of $50 and above. Beauty Squad Pro members get free shipping with a $10 minimum.

Return & exchange policy

e.l.f. answers "What is your return policy?" on its FAQ page, but we couldn't confirm the full terms on the pages we checked in September 2026. Before you return anything, read that FAQ answer or contact e.l.f. through its contact page to confirm the return window and conditions. Keep your order confirmation email, and if you received a free gift with purchase, keep it with your order in case it's part of the return.

Beauty Squad rewards explained

Beauty Squad is e.l.f.'s free loyalty program, available on the website and the e.l.f. app. Members earn 10 points for every $1 spent on e.l.f. products. You can also earn points by scanning receipts from other retailers, completing activities and playing in-app games.

Student, military, teacher & other discounts

e.l.f. has some of the more generous group discounts in beauty. As of September 2026:

• Students and graduates: 20% off your order after verifying with Student Beans. You need to sign in to Beauty Squad to apply the code, which is valid for one year and can be combined with other offers.
• Teachers, first responders, healthcare workers and military: 25% off orders of $30 or more. The code is single use, can't be combined with other coupon codes or percent-off discounts, excludes new and sale items, and works on the U.S. site only.

Price matching & price adjustments

e.l.f. doesn't publish a price-match or price-adjustment policy. Because e.l.f. is also sold at many drugstores and big-box retailers, compare prices there. If you buy elsewhere, scan the receipt in the Beauty Squad app to still earn points.

Payment options

e.l.f. announced that Shop Pay is available at checkout. Its FAQ also covers PayPal and Afterpay as payment topics, and gift cards are sold on the site. Confirm the options shown at checkout before you pay.

When e.l.f. Cosmetics has its biggest sales

e.l.f. runs frequent gift-with-purchase offers, like the free mascara with $50+ through September 30, 2026. Beauty Squad members get early access to sales and new collections. Historically, the biggest beauty sales happen around Black Friday and Cyber Monday in late November, so that's a good time to stock up on favorites.

How to use an e.l.f. Cosmetics promo code

1. Sign in to your Beauty Squad account, which is required for student codes.
2. Add your products and any free gift item to your cart. Free gifts usually need no code, but you must add them manually.
3. Enter your code in the discount field at checkout and apply it.
4. Check your order total. Remember that essential worker codes can't be combined with other coupon codes.
