Hobby Lobby Coupons & Promo Codes for October 2026

Hobby Lobby shopping guide: how to save more

Hobby Lobby at a glance

Hobby Lobby is best known for its huge selection of seasonal decor, craft supplies, frames, yarn and home accents. It does not run a loyalty program or publish promo codes on its site; instead, nearly all savings come from its Weekly Ad, which puts whole departments on sale at 30% to 50% off, plus a large clearance section. Here is how to make the most of it as of September 2026.

Best ways to save at Hobby Lobby

• Shop by the Weekly Ad. Hobby Lobby rotates department-wide sales every week. For the week ending October 3, 2026, the ad includes 50% off Christmas decor, trees, floral and crafts, 40% off fall decor, 50% off mirrors and lamps, 30% off all yarn and 50% off custom frames (frame only).
• Wait for your category to come around. Because the same departments go on sale regularly, it rarely makes sense to pay full price for seasonal decor, frames or craft supplies.
• Look for the everyday 40% off sections. Select home decor, frames and boxed model kits are marked as always 40% off the marked price.
• Dig into clearance. The clearance section offers up to 75% off across home decor, seasonal, wall art, kitchen and DIY supplies.
• Sign up for emails. Hobby Lobby recommends signing up for its emails, along with checking the Weekly Ad page, to find out about upcoming sales.

Shipping

As of September 2026, Hobby Lobby offers free shipping on online orders of $59 or more. Below that, standard shipping is charged on a tiered scale based on your subtotal, starting at $7.95 for orders up to $15. Orders usually take 2 to 3 days to process plus 1 to 7 business days in transit, with an extra day or two added during busy seasons. Hobby Lobby chooses UPS, USPS or freight based on package size and weight. Online orders ship to U.S. addresses only, and shoppers in Colorado and Minnesota pay state retail delivery fees.

Returns

Hobby Lobby accepts returns within 90 days of purchase as long as the item is in sellable condition; opened or used merchandise is not accepted. With a receipt, you can get a refund to the original payment method, store credit or an exchange. Without a receipt, you can get an exchange or store credit at the lowest selling price from the past 60 days, with a valid ID. Purchases paid by check have a 10-day wait before refunds.

Online orders must be returned by mail; stores cannot process returns of online purchases. Shipping charges are only refunded if the return is due to Hobby Lobby's error, and processing can take up to two weeks.

Rewards program

Hobby Lobby does not have a loyalty or rewards program as of September 2026. Every shopper gets the same Weekly Ad prices, which keeps things simple: the main strategy is timing your purchases around the weekly department sales.

Special discounts

Hobby Lobby does not publish a student, teacher, military or first responder discount on its website. Tax-exempt organizations and public schools can arrange tax-exempt purchases and purchase orders through customer service.

Price match and rain checks

Hobby Lobby will honor a competitor's ad in store only when the ad lists a specific price and Hobby Lobby stocks the exact same item. It does not accept competitors' percent-off ads or coupons, and it excludes holiday doorbusters, clearance and closeout items, and certain brands such as Cricut, Silhouette, Sizzix and some sewing pattern lines. Competitor ads are not honored online.

Rain checks are available in store for specific advertised items that sell out, but not when an entire group of merchandise is on sale, and they are not issued or redeemable online. Online and store prices and promotions can differ, so check both before you buy.

Payment options

Hobby Lobby accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Hobby Lobby gift cards both in stores and online. PayPal and Apple Pay are accepted online only. Gift cards ordered online are mailed by USPS First Class.

Hobby Lobby app and emails

The Hobby Lobby mobile app lets you browse the Weekly Ad, find a nearby store, shop online, track orders, manage your account and check gift card balances. It is a convenient way to see which departments are on sale before you head to the store, especially since in-store and online promotions can differ. Joining the Hobby Lobby email list is the other easy step: subscribers receive the Weekly Ad, special promotions, project ideas and store news. Neither the app nor the email list carries a published sign-up discount as of September 2026, but both help you catch the weekly department sales without having to check the website every few days.

Sale calendar

Hobby Lobby is known for starting seasonal sales early. Christmas decor, trees and floral are already 50% off in late September 2026, and fall decor is on sale at the same time. Departments like frames, yarn, paper crafts, furniture and home decor cycle through the Weekly Ad throughout the year. The company does not publish a long-range calendar, so the current Weekly Ad and emails are the only reliable guide.

How to use a promo code at Hobby Lobby

• Check the Weekly Ad first; most discounts are applied automatically to sale-priced items, with no code needed.
• If Hobby Lobby sends you an offer by email or in its app, follow its instructions for online or in-store use.
• Online, enter any valid code in the promo field at checkout and confirm the discount in your order summary.
• Read the fine print on any offer, since terms and exclusions vary from promotion to promotion.
