How to save at Hollister: the smartest ways

Hollister Co. sells casual, California-inspired clothing for teens and young adults, including jeans, graphic tees, hoodies and swimwear. Prices are already moderate, and stacking a few simple habits makes them lower still.

1. Join Hollister House Rewards first. It's free, and new members get $10 off a $40 purchase. That is one of the best first-order deals on the site.
2. Sign up for emails. Subscribers get 15% off their next purchase. Exclusions apply, so read the details.
3. Verify as a student. Hollister offers a student discount through UNiDAYS. Check the current amount on the student discount page before you order.
4. Shop price events. From September 18 to 29, 2026, Hollister is running "This Season's Staples" with select styles at $15, $20, $25 and up, online and in US stores.
5. Hit the free shipping threshold. Orders over $59 ship free, and members only need $50. Gold members get free standard shipping on every order.
6. Dig into clearance. Women's and men's clearance sections carry reduced prices with no code needed.
7. Time purchases for your birthday month. Members get discounts and 2x points during their birthday month.
8. Stack the welcome offer with sale prices where allowed. Use your $10 off $40 member offer on a cart that already includes price-event items, if the offer terms permit it, and check the total before paying.
9. Go for Gold if you shop often. Spending $300 a year earns Gold status, with 150 points per $1, free shipping on all orders and an annual $5 reward gift.

Shipping & delivery options

• Free standard shipping: On online orders over $59 shipped within the US or Canada by Standard Ground. The threshold is measured on your subtotal after discounts, before tax and shipping. Exclusions apply.
• House Rewards members: Free shipping on orders over $50.
• Gold members: Free standard shipping on all orders.
• Other orders: Shipping costs and faster options appear at checkout.

See the Hollister shipping and handling page for full terms. You can also find a nearby store with the store locator if you prefer to shop in person.

Return & exchange policy

Hollister accepts returns and exchanges of online orders through its Online Returns process. We could not confirm the exact return window, whether a return label fee applies or how final sale items are handled, so review the policy before you buy, especially on clearance.

• Where to start: The Online Returns page in the Help section.
• Customer service: Call 866-426-1285 with return questions.
• Tip: Keep your order confirmation email until the return window closes.

Hollister House Rewards explained

Hollister House Rewards is the brand's free loyalty program. It has two levels.

• Member: Free to join. Earn 100 points per $1, get free shipping on orders over $50, exclusive offers, first dibs on product drops, and birthday-month discounts with 2x points.
• Gold: Reached by spending $300 a year. Earn 150 points per $1, get free standard shipping on all orders (some countries excluded) and an annual $5 reward gift.

Every 12,500 points turns into a $5 reward, so members earn roughly 4% back and Gold members roughly 6%. New members also get a $10 off $40 welcome offer. Points and rewards are tracked in your account, so sign in every time you shop online to make sure each purchase counts toward your next reward and toward the $300 Gold threshold. Details are on the Hollister House Rewards page.

Student, military, teacher & other discounts

Hollister has a student discount verified through UNiDAYS, linked from the student discount page. We could not confirm the current percentage, so check it after you verify. We did not find a standing military, teacher or senior discount as of September 2026.

Price matching & price adjustments

We could not confirm a price match or price adjustment policy at Hollister. If something you bought drops in price, contact customer service and ask, but don't count on an adjustment.

Payment options

Hollister sells gift cards that can be used on your order. Accepted cards and other payment methods are shown at checkout, so confirm your preferred option there before you place the order.

When Hollister has its biggest sales

• Seasonal price events: Such as "This Season's Staples" in late September 2026.
• Back-to-school: July through September usually brings deals on jeans, tees and hoodies.
• Black Friday and Cyber Monday: Typically the biggest sitewide promotions.
• End of season: Clearance grows after summer and after the winter holidays.
• Your birthday month: Member discounts and double points.

How to use a Hollister promo code

1. Sign in to your Hollister House Rewards account so points and member perks apply.
2. Add items to your bag on hollisterco.com.
3. Open your bag, enter the code in the promo code field and apply it.
4. Confirm the discount before you place your order.

Price events and clearance prices apply automatically, so you may not need a code. Codes often exclude certain items. Also remember that discounts reduce your subtotal, which can push you below the free shipping threshold.
