KiwiCo Coupons & Promo Codes for October 2026

KiwiCo shopping guide: how to save more

KiwiCo at a glance

KiwiCo makes monthly project crates designed to get kids building, tinkering and creating. Each subscription line targets a different age range, from the Panda Crate for babies and toddlers up to crates for teens and adults, and the KiwiCo Store also sells individual kits as one-off purchases or gifts. Most of the savings at KiwiCo come from becoming a subscriber, since that unlocks free shipping and an ongoing member discount.

Best ways to save at KiwiCo

• Take the email signup offer. KiwiCo advertises 40% off your first month when you sign up for its emails. Exclusions apply, so check which subscription lines qualify before you check out.
• Subscribe to get member perks. Active members get 10% off KiwiCo purchases and free standard US shipping, which KiwiCo says saves $7.95 on every crate.
• Use a referral link. If a friend already subscribes, ask for their referral link. You get $15 off your first subscription and they earn a $15 credit.
• Order in bulk for classrooms. Teachers, schools and groups ordering 10 or more eligible crates from the Education Catalog can get 10% off.
• Watch for limited-time sales. KiwiCo runs occasional sales on subscriptions and store kits, such as its Prime-timed sale in past years. Its sale pages note when an event has ended, so confirm the dates before you plan around one.

Subscription plans and pricing

According to the KiwiCo help center, subscription payment plans start at $24 per month for most subscription lines. The Panda Crate, which is aimed at the youngest children, works differently and costs $42 per crate, shipping once every two months. KiwiCo also offers longer renewing plans, such as a 3-month renewing subscription, and prices for each plan are shown on the subscription product pages. Prices can change, so check the current rate for your chosen line as of October 2026 before you subscribe.

Gift subscriptions are also available, and KiwiCo sells digital gift cards, which can be useful if you are buying for a family that already subscribes.

Member perks

KiwiCo lists four benefits for members on its perks page. Members get 10% off KiwiCo purchases, which is helpful when adding individual store kits to your order. They also get free standard US shipping on KiwiCo orders, early access to new products, and a birthday surprise for the member and their child. To make the most of the member discount, consider buying store items such as gifts or extra kits while your subscription is active.

Refer-a-friend program

KiwiCo runs a referral program for existing customers. Each customer has a unique referral link. When a friend uses that link, the friend gets $15 off their first subscription, and once they purchase, the referrer receives a $15 credit that can be applied to any subscription purchase. KiwiCo says there is no limit to the number of friends you can refer. Full conditions are listed on the KiwiCo referral rules page.

Educator and group discount

KiwiCo sells classroom packs and project kits for schools, homeschools, camps and other groups through its Education site. The Education Catalog offers 10% off eligible orders of 10 or more crates when you enter the educator promo code shown by KiwiCo at checkout. KiwiCo notes the code is not valid with other promotions or bundles. KiwiCo does not advertise a general student or military discount as of October 2026.

Shipping

All active US subscribers get free shipping on their crates. KiwiCo also ships internationally to more than 40 countries, including Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and international shipping costs vary by destination. Shipping costs for non-member store orders were not shown when we checked, so look at the shipping line in your cart before you pay. Around the holidays, KiwiCo publishes a holiday shipping schedule with order-by dates, which is worth checking if you are buying a gift.

Returns

KiwiCo accepts returns on individual crates purchased from the Store section of its website as long as the items are unused and undamaged. The help center article we checked did not list a specific return window or return shipping cost, so contact KiwiCo support to start a return and confirm the details. Subscriptions are managed from your account, where you can see your plan and renewal settings.

Gift ideas and gift cards

KiwiCo is a popular gift for birthdays and the holidays. You can give a gift subscription for a set number of months, buy a single kit from the Store, or send a KiwiCo gift card so the family can choose their own crate line. The KiwiCo gift guide groups ideas by age and interest, which makes it easier to pick the right line. If you already subscribe, buying gifts while your membership is active lets your 10% member discount apply to store purchases.

How to use a promo code at KiwiCo

1. Choose a subscription line or add store kits to your cart on kiwico.com.
2. Go to checkout and look for the promo code field.
3. Enter the code exactly as KiwiCo shows it and apply it.
4. Check that the discount appears in your order total before you place the order.

Referral discounts apply through your friend’s link rather than a typed code, and member perks apply automatically once you are an active subscriber. KiwiCo’s own coupons page lists its current official offers, so it is a good place to check before you buy.
