Levi's shopping guide: how to save more

How to save at Levi's: the smartest ways

Levi.com rewards signed-in members and shoppers who time their purchases well. As of September 2026, these tactics give the best value:

1. Join Red Tab before you check out. It's free, and it cuts the free-shipping threshold from $150 to $75, makes online returns free, and gives you 100 bonus points when you sign up.
2. Sign up for emails for a first-order discount. New email subscribers get a percentage off and free shipping on their first order.
3. Turn points into rewards. You earn 1 point per $1, and every 125 points becomes a $5 reward. That's about 4% back, plus 100 points on your birthday.
4. Stack an ID discount with a moderate sale. Student, military, medical and first-responder codes (10% off) combine with promotions of up to 40% off, but not with bigger events like Black Friday.
5. Use the 14-day price adjustment. If a full-price Levi.com item goes on sale within 14 days, you can request a one-time adjustment.
6. Return in store. In-store returns are free and refunded instantly, even for online orders, which saves guests the $7.50 mail-return fee.
7. Get free hemming when it's offered. Red Tab promotions have included free hemming on jeans at Levi's Tailor Shop locations.
8. Shop the sale section before big events. Levi.com runs "extra % off sale" events, and Red Tab members often get early access.

Shipping & delivery options

As of September 2026, Red Tab members get free ground shipping on orders over $75, and guest shoppers need to spend over $150. Faster shipping costs extra, and the options and prices appear at checkout. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable if you return the order. Items from Levi's authorized retailers, like department stores and marketplaces, follow those retailers' shipping policies.

Return & exchange policy

• Window: items have to be returned within 30 days. Once you start a return online, you have 14 days to send it before it's automatically canceled.
• Condition: unworn, with original tags attached.
• Cost: free for signed-in Red Tab members and at Levi's stores. Guests have a $7.50 processing fee deducted from mail-in refunds.
• Non-refundable: Final Sale items, shipping fees, gift cards, gift wrap and donations.
• Exchanges: size exchanges only. To change color or style, return the item and place a new order.
• Refund timing: usually within 15 days of Levi's receiving the return.

In-store returns without a receipt get store credit. Items bought from other retailers have to go back to that retailer.

Levi's Red Tab rewards explained

Red Tab is Levi's free loyalty program. It has a single level with no paid tiers:

• Earning: 1 point per $1 on qualifying purchases, with no annual cap.
• Rewards: every 125 points turns into a $5 reward.
• Bonuses: 100 points when you join and 100 points on your birthday, plus occasional in-store point promotions.
• Perks: free shipping over $75, free returns, early access to launches, collaborations and sales, member events, and Tailor Shop discounts on select services.
• Expiration: points expire one year after you earn them and can't be transferred.

Student, military, teacher, senior & other discounts

Levi's verifies these discounts through SheerID. Each one gives 10% off eligible Levi.com orders:

• Students: active US college or university students.
• Military: active and retired US military.
• Medical professionals: doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers.
• First responders: firefighters, police officers and EMTs.

Each program gives you up to two single-use codes every 365 days. The codes stack with offers of up to 40% off, but not with bigger sales. Levi's doesn't advertise an official teacher or senior discount.

Price matching & price adjustments

Levi's doesn't match competitors' prices. For Levi.com orders, you can get a one-time price adjustment if a full-price item goes on sale within 14 days of your purchase. You can get only one adjustment per order. Items bought before major events like Black Friday, Final Sale items and items already discounted by a promotion don't qualify. For shipped orders, the refund goes back to your original payment method within 3-5 business days. For store purchases, bring your receipt to a Levi's store.

Payment options

Levi.com accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, as well as PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Google Pay, Apple Pay (on mobile) and Afterpay installments. You can also use Levi's gift cards. Levi's doesn't accept cash on delivery, personal checks or layaway.

When Levi's has its biggest sales

• Presidents Day and Memorial Day weekends: sitewide or category promotions often run.
• Summer and end-of-season sales: extra percentage off sale styles.
• Back-to-school (August): denim promotions tied to school shopping.
• Black Friday and Cyber Monday: usually the deepest discounts of the year. ID discounts don't stack with these, and price adjustments don't apply.

Red Tab members often get early access to these sales. Dates and discounts vary.

How to use a Levi's promo code

1. Sign in to your Red Tab account on Levi.com or in the Levi's app.
2. Add items to your bag and go to checkout.
3. Enter the code in the promotional code field, apply it, and check the updated total.

Common exclusions: Final Sale items, gift cards, some collaborations and new arrivals, and custom or tailored products. ID-verified codes are single-use and can't be combined with promotions over 40% off.
