Bikes ordered online can be picked up at a participating Trek retailer, and some areas have same-day delivery of bikes and accessories through participating retailers, with delivery fees that apply. Trek’s 30-Day Unconditional Guarantee lets you ride your new Trek and bring it back within 30 days of purchase if it is not right for you. For trekbikes.com purchases, items must be in like-new condition with proof of purchase, and bikes must have used Trek’s ship-to-home delivery method to be returned that way. Purchases made in a store follow that retailer’s policy.

• Unassembled bikes can be returned with a free label created online.
• Assembled or ridden bikes can be taken to a local shop, or disassembled, boxed and shipped with a label.
• E-bikes must go back in the original box with the battery installed and powered off.
• Non-bike products are returned with a USPS label from the return button.

Trek says returning your bike is free, with a few exclusions (Fetch+ 2, Fetch+ 4, Allant+, Loft and Ponto Go! do not get free return shipping, though local retailers accept them). Refunds usually reach your original payment method within 10 days but can take up to 30.

Financing with Citizens Pay

The minimum first purchase is $199, later purchases need at least $99, and the maximum is $20,000. The non-promotional rate is 29.99% APR, so plan to pay off promotional balances on time.

Trade-in programs

Bike trade-in: Trek’s trade-in program uses Bicycle Blue Book to value your current bike. Trek bikes 10 or more years old (2 or more years for e-bikes) valued over $350 and non-Trek bikes valued over $400 can qualify. You bring your bike and valuation to a participating Trek shop, and in-store credit must be used right away toward one new bike at that location. Credit cannot cover taxes or fees, and accepting a trade-in is at the store manager’s discretion. Bikes that do not qualify can be donated to charity.

Kids’ trade-up: At participating locations, a kids’ bike bought at least 6 months earlier and still safe to ride can earn credit of up to 50% of its original sales price toward a new, larger kids’ bike or a first adult bike. It must go back to the original purchase location, and the credit cannot be used on sale or discounted bikes.

Rewards and special discounts

We did not find a points-based rewards program or a published military, student or first responder discount on Trek’s US site as of October 2026. Trek does run community promotions through its Ride Club app, such as a challenge with a cycling prize, but these are contests rather than discounts. Individual Trek stores may run their own local promotions.

Warranty
