Uniqlo shopping guide: how to save more

How to save at Uniqlo: the smartest ways

Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing brand known for affordable basics and technical fabrics such as HEATTECH, AIRism and Ultra Light Down, plus premium cashmere and designer collaborations. Its prices are already low, so the savings come from coupons, limited-time pricing and free delivery.

1. Download the app first. First-time app users who register an online store membership get $10 off purchases of $75 or more, usable in stores and online until the end of the month.
2. Create an online account. New registrants get a $5 off $75+ welcome coupon, valid online for 31 days.
3. Use your birthday coupon. Registered members automatically receive $5 off $50+ online during their birthday month.
4. Refer a friend. When a friend registers through your referral, you both get $10 off $100+ online, valid for 31 days.
5. Check Limited-Time Offers every week. Uniqlo runs short price cuts on dozens of items, each with a clear end date shown on the product.
6. Browse the sale section. The sale pages include basics from under $10, though some deals are only in select colors or sizes.
7. Pick up in store to skip shipping. Ship to Store and Pick Up Today are free on any order, so you don't need to reach $99.
8. Plan for one coupon per order. Coupons can't be combined, so use the biggest one you have on your largest order and split purchases if you hold several.

Shipping & delivery options

• Standard: $7.99, 3 to 7 working days. Free on orders of $99 or more, counted after coupons and before tax and shipping.
• Priority: $17, 2 to 3 working days.
• Express: $22, 1 to 2 working days.
• Ship to Store: Free, 3 to 7 business days. Orders are held for 14 days after you are notified, and you can ask the chatbot for a one-time 14-day extension during business hours.
• Pick Up Today: Free, usually ready within 1 to 24 hours.

Priority and Express are not available to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico or P.O. boxes. Pant alterations add 3 to 7 business days, and Uniqlo does not ship internationally from its US site. See the Uniqlo shipping FAQ for details.

Return & exchange policy

Uniqlo accepts returns and exchanges within 30 days of the original shipped date, not the delivery date. Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered and have their original tags.

• How to return: Online orders are returned by mail with a prepaid label. In-store returns of online orders are generally not accepted, except orders paid with the Pay In-Store option, which go back to that store.
• Fees: A $7 return shipping fee (plus tax in some states) applies to exchanges, and the replacement item ships free.
• Not returnable: Used, washed, hemmed, altered or damaged items, underwear and bras, final sale items and used RE.UNIQLO products.

Read the full online return policy before sending anything back. Refund timing depends on your payment method, and the Uniqlo help center has a separate section on refund methods and timeframes.

Uniqlo membership and coupons explained

Uniqlo doesn't run a points program. Instead, a free online membership unlocks coupons:

• App download coupon: $10 off $75+ for first-time app users who register, valid in stores and online until month-end.
• Welcome coupon: $5 off $75+, online only, for 31 days after registration.
• Birthday coupon: $5 off $50+, online only, during your birthday month.
• Referral coupon: $10 off $100+ for you and your friend, online only, valid for 31 days.

Only one coupon can be used per order, and coupons don't apply to gift cards or alteration fees. Coupons must be applied manually at checkout. The Uniqlo coupon FAQ has the details.

Student, military, teacher & other discounts

We did not find a student, military, teacher or senior discount on the Uniqlo US site as of September 2026. The app and membership coupons above are the best everyday alternatives.

Price matching & price adjustments

We could not confirm a price match or price adjustment policy. Because Limited-Time Offers change often, check the product page for a current offer before you buy.

Payment options

• All major credit and debit cards (international cards need a US billing address).
• PayPal, including Pay in 4.
• Apple Pay.
• Klarna.
• Pay In-Store for online orders.
• Uniqlo gift cards, alone or combined with other methods.

In stores, Uniqlo also takes cash at staffed registers and contactless payments such as Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.

When Uniqlo has its biggest sales

• Weekly Limited-Time Offers: New price cuts rotate frequently throughout the year.
• End of season: Summer items drop in late summer, and winter items after the holidays.
• Black Friday and the holidays: Typically a good time for cold-weather basics and outerwear.
• Your birthday month: Use your $5 off $50+ coupon.

How to use a Uniqlo promo code

1. Sign in to your Uniqlo account on the website or app.
2. Add items to your cart and go to checkout.
3. Select or enter your coupon in the coupon field and apply it.
4. Confirm the discount before you pay.

Only one coupon works per order. Remember that the $99 free shipping threshold is measured after coupons, so a coupon can push a borderline order below it.
