Free shipping

Zappos ships free to every U.S. location it serves, including U.S. territories and military APO/FPO addresses, with no minimum order. Standard delivery takes three to five business days. Zappos VIP members get complimentary expedited shipping, which arrives in one to three business days, although expedited service is not available for addresses outside the continental U.S. or for military addresses.

Free returns and how they work

Returns are free to the same locations Zappos ships to. Merchandise must be returned within 60 days in new condition, meaning unworn, unaltered and in its original packaging with all tags attached. Shoes must come back in the original shoe box in its original condition, without packing tape or postal labels on the box itself. Items marked Final Sale cannot be returned, and returns that do not meet the policy can face a restocking fee of up to 50% of the item price.

Eligible refunds are processed as soon as the return is dropped off. Store credit usually appears within 24 hours, while refunds to the original payment method can take 10 to 30 business days to show up, depending on your bank.

Zappos VIP rewards program

Zappos VIP is free to join. Members earn one VIP point per dollar spent on qualifying purchases and can earn 10 points for each eligible product review, up to an annual cap on promotional points. Every 100 points can be redeemed for a $1 VIP Code, and codes can be applied to future purchases on Zappos.com. Points can be redeemed at any time once you have 100, and any remaining points automatically convert to codes each November. VIP Codes expire 90 days after they are issued, so plan to use them soon after redeeming. VIP members also receive bonus points during select promotions and on select brands.

If you have an eligible Amazon Prime membership, you can link it to your Zappos account. Linked Prime members earn double VIP points on qualifying purchases, along with fast, free shipping and free returns. Most Prime membership types qualify, but Prime Video-only, Prime Invitee and Business Prime memberships are excluded.

Price match and price guarantee

Zappos will match a lower price from a qualifying U.S. retailer’s website if the item is available in the same brand, color and size. The match must be requested before you place your order by calling (877) 927-2332 or using live chat. Auction, membership club, outlet, discount and non-U.S. websites are excluded, as are third-party Amazon resellers, and a price match cannot be combined with other coupons or sitewide discounts.

After you buy, Zappos also offers a price guarantee. If the price of your item drops on Zappos.com within 10 calendar days of purchase, you can contact customer service and request a refund of the difference to your original payment method.

Special discounts

As of September 2026, Zappos does not list a student, military, teacher or first-responder discount on its website. Military shoppers do benefit from free standard shipping and free returns to APO/FPO addresses.

Payment options
